Optometric assistant

Optometric assistant will Help Optometrist with the following:

1. Assuring the appropriate paperwork in order and complete
2. Pretesting
3. Included aided and non-aided visual acuities
4. Auto refraction
5. Tonometry
6. Lensometry
7. Set Pheropter as per the doctors instruction
8. Schedule monthly, quarterly semiannual and annual maintenance and recalibrations as necessary
9. visual field screening
10. digital retina scan
11. contact lens insertion and removal training for new fits.
12. Ordering contact lenses
13. Responsible for patient flow
14. Patients satisfaction
